Background of Goblin Invasion
After the disaster, all tribes have encountered an unprecedented misfortune, not excepting human beings. The prosperity bubbles were broken in the disaster, economic depression and nobles corruption made the nation immerse in instability, which worse, Goblin financial groups who knew business operation well have colluded several famous nobles to force up the prices to profiteer. More trouble and misery were to follow on, unemployment and crimes kept increasing all the time. At this moment, young king impeded an investment ban to interrupt the trade with outside tribes especially Goblin, and clipped the noble’s wing by legislating.The immediate result was that the profits source was cut down. In order to recover this source of profit, 5 trade princes from Goblin assembled and negotiated on that day. They probably hatched a plan to start a war.
As a neutral force in Azeroth, Goblin would never start a war hastily to harm to his businesses in all continents even though he was a member of Tribes. They wanted to start a minor plunder first to human’s industrial towns at the border for the reason of taking back their industries that have been banned, thereby hoping to collude with human nobles again and also cover their evil deeds to the towns.
One month later, rich Revagaz from Hot Dust and the magnate Lazzdak form the Venture Investment Company bid for this war project. Finally Hot Dust won the tender and employed the well-paid Grex Brainboiler as the commander in chief in No.52 district. A plunder was beginning.
In an early autumn morning, armors from Hot Sand Harbor have concentrated at the human’s boundary waiting to invade. Human sentinels sent messengers to the capital as soon as they discovered the enemies. However, all the information was cut off by the human nobles who colluded with Goblin. After failed many times, the sentinel commander has to find his teacher Tolyan, the general of human foreign expeditionary force for help in secret.Due to the intensive war between Foreign Lands and Demons, Tolyan thought Goblin might not start a large-scale invasion, so he sent a small group of excellent engineers to reinforce the towns by building huge Defense Towers on the way to XXX to help people resist the aggressions from Goblin. The members of this engineer group included veteran architecture artificer- Boole, wacky enchanter-Davin, and mechanician – Anna.
